About Us:

QIDOT Café is a fast-growing F&B brand with a distinctive Modern Malaysian identity, combining local flavours with international flair. With multiple outlets and a centralized kitchen system, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Head Chef to lead and oversee our culinary direction across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Kitchen Management

  • Oversee overall kitchen operations at Central Kitchen and all QIDOT outlets.
  • Lead, train, and mentor Sous Chefs, CDPs, and kitchen staff across branches.
  • Ensure SOPs are followed for food production, handling, and presentation at all levels.
  • Implement a structured kitchen workflow to ensure consistency, speed, and quality.

2. Menu Innovation & Standardization

  • Lead the development of seasonal and core menus, ensuring they align with QIDOT's brand and market expectations.
  • Standardize recipes and portioning across outlets to ensure consistency.
  • Introduce new techniques and innovation in line with current food trends and customer preferences.

3. Production & Quality Control

  • Manage high-volume food production at the Central Kitchen, including pre-cooking, vacuum packing, freezing, and delivery.
  • Ensure all food delivered to outlets meets QIDOT quality, safety, and presentation standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits at outlets and Central Kitchen.

4. Inventory & Cost Management

  • Monitor food costing, inventory, and wastage levels across all branches.
  • Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely supply and optimal quality of ingredients.
  • Maintain efficient budget and cost controls in line with business targets.

5. Hygiene & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment across all operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 3 years in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role.
  • Strong experience managing central kitchen operations and multi-outlet coordination.
  • Proven expertise in local, Western, and fusion cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, kitchen workflow, and production scaling.
  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about culinary excellence.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
