We have an Immediate Openings Finance Operations System Support with our reputed Client.

Work Location: Ampang Park, KL

Exp: 5+ years

Job Description (JD)

· Assist in developing and preparing project/enhancement implementation plan, issue and risk logs maintained for reporting and tracking for closure.

· Work closely with the any relevant teams to ensure the progress meets all the deadlines

· Work out the double entries (posting rule) for all transactions in line with adopted accounting policies

· Evaluate, understand and build Business Data Requirement, and convert to user requirement for system enhancement

· Develop/Review UAT test scripts to ensure testing scenarios are adequate, provide requirement during testing phase and provide support in testing output from sub-ledger to GL

· Reconciliation of any exception handling, if any

· Identify & recommend on system and process enhancement to existing processes

Qualification:

· Bachelors’ degree or equivalent, in Finance or any related discipline

· Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred (MI, ACCA, CPA, MICPA or ICAEW)

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):

· Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in financial institutions (Insurance preferred)

· Experience in reconciliation, expenses analysis and finance operations added advantage

Other skills required:

· Knowledge of business analysis tool added advantage

· Strong communication skills

Key Performance:

· Assist, and where needed, act as Business Analysis,

· Ensure governance, risk assessment and establishing reporting and decision making protocols for projects relating to Finance

· Review/raise CRs, BRDs, managing to ensure deliverables within agreed Scope and Project Schedule

· Manage, develop, verify test scripts/results and raise defects at UATs

· Manage the integration to core or other applicable systems, including the management/checking of exception for resolution

· Provide advice and recommendation on accounting policies
