Factory Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
Plan, organize, and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
Monitor production KPIs including output, efficiency, downtime, and quality
Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, specifications, and timelines.
2. Staff Management
Supervise and lead production teams, including supervisors, technicians,, and foreign workers.
Monitor staff performance and provide training, coaching, and support where needed.
Maintain a safe and productive work environment with positive morale.
3. Quality Control
Enforce quality assurance protocols throughout the production process.
Ensure finished furniture products meet internal and client standards.
Manage inspections, defect tracking, and corrective actions.
4. Resource & Inventory Management
Coordinate procurement and inventory of raw materials and hardware (wood, laminate, screws, fittings, etc.).
Control wastage and optimize use of materials and manpower.
8. Daily Installation Team Scheduling
Prepare and manage a daily timetable for the installation team, assigning jobs and locations based on project priorities and readiness.
Ensure the installation team is fully briefed on the day’s work, tools, and materials required.
Track progress of installations and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or delays.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or related industry.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and inventory systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
