  • Major Duties & Responsibilities:GeneralFollow and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions as necessary.Independently perform preventive maintenance tasks on a scheduled basis to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.Analyze blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment and system specifications.Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in their performance.Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root causes of equipment problems.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.Implement and uphold food safety and quality standards in all maintenance tasks.Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety among team members.Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge.Collaborate with technicians 3 & engineer on complex repairs.Assist in the procurement and organization of replacement parts.Monitor and analyze equipment downtime trends, providing insights for improvement.TechnicalDiagnose mechanical and electrical problems; repairs or replaces defective parts in units, equipment and controlsInstall and rectify air conditioning/ refrigeration components and equipmentInspects systems and their components (e.g. air conditioning, heating and refrigeration units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safety and identifying necessary repairs and providing an on-going program of preventive maintenance.Troubleshooting refrigeration equipment failures to identify equipment and/or systems repair and replacement needs.PERFORM PREVENTIVE/CORRECTIVE/PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE AS NEEDED AND TO ENSURE THAT THE REFRIGERATION (AMMONIA & FREON) AND OTHER ASSIGNED FACILITIES SYSTEMS FUNCTION EFFECTIVELY.Clean Cooler unit & refrigeration’s facilities (e.g. coils, condensation pans, drain lines, cooling towers, etc.) to ensure units are performing as per required.Prepare documentation (e.g. records of refrigerants, paperwork, logs, time and materials, specifications, etc.) to provide written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.Operates a variety of hand and power tools, vacuum pump and test equipment utilized in the trade; maintains equipment in effective and safe working condition.Record Keeping: Maintain records of maintenance activities, including part replacements, inspections, and lubrication schedules.Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report maintenance findings and request assistance when needed.
