Senior Executive, Ground Operations Risk Management
Reports To
Senior Manager, Airport Services Safety & Quality Assurance and DG Coordinator
Role Purpose
Plan, implement, review and monitor quality assurance programs in Airport Services systemwide in ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and conformance to corporate safety policies and procedures.
Key Accountability
- Manage, measure, track and monitor the execution of independent and comprehensive Quality & Safety Programs to assess the level of adequacy, integrity, effectiveness and efficiency of Airport Services operations across the Group, in order to have regular check-points on the QA status of the operations.
- Implement, track and monitor a system of surveillance, and proactively initiative sampling inspections and conducting spot checks within the Airport Services operations system-wide to enforce the need for compliance to regulatory frameworks and the Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation, in addition to all relevant SOPs and Manuals.
- Organize and implement an approved and independent execution of audit program to review Airport Services operations at home bases, all line stations (Domestic & International) and GSPs to enforce the need for compliance to regulatory requirements and corporate standards and practices.
- Lead, conduct and produce report on Airport Services related accident / incident investigation process to gather input for formulation of preventive measures, in order to institutionalize the prevention of such incidences in the future.
- Design, develop, implement and track a Safety Management System within Airport Services and vendors, in an efficient and cost effective manner, to maintain a safe, secure and environmentally friendly operations landscape that is in compliance with the relevant regulations (i.e., DCA, COSH, DOSH, NIOSH, MAB, SOCSO, Sirim, Bomba, etc.), in order to minimize non-compliance risk for the company.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Degree in any field with minimum 2 years working experience in aviation industr
- Diplomain any field with minimum 4 years working experience in aviation industry
Skills & Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of audit processes (internal and external), strong knowledge, comprehensive auditing theory and techniques.
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory standards: CAAM, SAFA, IOSA.
- Knowledge of safety management systems (SMS) and quality assurance (QA) frameworks, familiar with airline and airport operations, related industry organizations, regulatory and safety requirements worldwide
- Competence in performance tracking, findings closure, and report compilation.
- Experience with contract and SLA management.
- Advanced knowledge in Safety Management System - centric accident/incident investigation.
