Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible to work with the Project Manager, Production Manager, and Maintenance Engineer to transfer technology from headquarters.
- Develop the process, establish work instruction and FMEA.
- Provide and establish preventive maintenance plan, analyse data, and lead the continuous improvement project.
- Executing product qualification, reviewing equipment design and approval, and running factory acceptance test (FAT), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Product Qualification (PQ).
- Analyse workflows within and across all departments to determine how the entire company can work better together.
- Review the KPI monitoring systems in the moulding department and determine ways to improve their ability to maintain company operations.
- Create an analytical process development on Moulding that justifies business decisions.
- Analyse capital expenditures and project designs to help find ways to cut costs.
- Troubleshooting day-to-day issues and get involved in continuous improvement projects to improve quality, and optimize cost-producing products.
- Interacts with other personnel, principally within the division/staff organization, to develop a network of resources to facilitate the completion of assignments. Establishes a network of corporate resources of OMM staff associates, legal, property and cost, quality and manufacturing, corporate safety, etc.
- Conducts well-defined technical tasks or transfer projects with regular guidance that produce results used for decisions within an area of technical speciality at a project level. Develops an awareness of scientific/product opportunities and takes initiative to suggest/test ideas. Exhibits good discriminatory judgment during the implementation of these projects, in evaluating results of those tasks, and suggests future direction based on these results.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements programs in the manufacturing area, the responsibility is to improve:
- (1) productivity and product cost, service, and quality,
- (2) process safety and health/environmental impact. Utilizes statistical techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing processes. Improves upon these skills through regular participation in appropriate activities.
- Identifies and implements a comprehensive education plan to continually advance technical skills and personal development as well as enhance organizational effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Graduates have a Degree in Engineering or Physical Science from an accredited university or college.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and excellent reactive attitude.
- Highly organised, positive and proactive.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to influence others to achieve their own objectives.
