Technical Sales Support Engineer - HVAC (Shah Alam, Selangor)
Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to sales team by addressing customer's technical requirement & preparing product selection.
2. Work closely with Sales Engineers, factories, and suppliers to ensure proper selection and pricing.
3. Prepare cost estimations, quotations, and technical proposals.
4. Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products including their features, benefits and applications.
5. Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and costing accuracy.
6. Provide technical clarifications and documentation for customers and internal teams.
7. Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s HVAC products, applications, and specifications.
8. Stay updated on product improvements, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
9. Assist in creating product comparisons and performance analyses.
10. Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery coordination.
11. Support the sales team with technical training and knowledge-sharing.
12. Maintain an organized database of quotations, product selections, and pricing references.
13. Provide reports on product selection trends, pricing changes, and customer preferences.
14. In charge of other sales support-related tasks where needed.
Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in technical support / sales engineering role is beneficial.
Skills: Strong technical acumen, proficiency in office software (i.e. MS Excel), excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication skills.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively independently and in a group environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
