Admin Assistant with Accounting Background – Job Scope
Basic Accounting Support
- Assist in data entry for invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Help with preparing basic financial reports (e.g. expense reports, petty cash)
- Monitor and update records of accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in reconciling bank statements
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing
Document & Record Keeping
- Maintain proper filing systems for accounting and admin documents
- Update databases and spreadsheets (e.g. Excel)
- Assist in maintaining records for audit purposes
Support to Finance or Admin Team
- Provide clerical support to finance/accounting staff
- Follow up with vendors or clients on payment or documentation
- Liaise with other departments for admin or finance-related tasks
Software Use
- Use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- May be trained on accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, MYOB, SQL, Xero)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
