TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate all import and export operations, including booking shipments and preparing shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Analyze all import and export operations, including air and sea freight bookings and shipping schedules.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and TE Connectivity’s global trade compliance policies.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve any issues related to customs clearance and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively manage exceptions or delays to minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Work closely with planning, procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely logistics coordination.
- Maintain up-to-date records for audits and compliance reviews; support internal and external trade compliance audits as needed.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP) and trade management tools to track, report, and optimize logistics performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, cost savings, and process standardization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment/ Freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures, including preparation and submission of customs declarations, HS codes, and international trade documentation.
- Hands-on experience in coordinating air and sea freight operations, including booking, tracking, and managing delivery timelines.
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office tools; experience with trade compliance systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
