JOB SUMMARY
The role involves overseeing and supporting a wide range of Human Resources functions on a daily basis. This includes managing payroll, employee benefits, staff attendance, HR administration, and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Payroll and Employee Benefits
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Manage employee benefits and welfare-related matters efficiently.
2. HR Administration and Policy Support
- Implement existing HR policies and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Conduct monthly analysis of exit interviews to gather insights.
- Develop and execute initiatives to improve employee engagement and overall productivity.
- Manage office administrative tasks with a hands-on approach.
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
3. Attendance and Leave Management
- Monitor daily staff attendance and punctuality.
- Review and report on attendance and leave records on a monthly and yearly basis.
- Prepare weekly reports on recurring absences, including sick and other leave types.
- Maintain and submit timely reports through HR2000 or similar systems, including:
- Daily Tardiness Report
- Weekly Attendance Report
- Monthly Attendance Report
4. HR System and Record Maintenance
- Support in updating and monitoring staff information in HR2000 or related systems.
- Track and report attendance, various types of leave, medical claims, and related documentation.
- Assist in payroll-related tasks such as salary entries, overtime claims, and other allowances.
5. Leave Record Reconciliation
- Ensure all leave records are updated accurately and match attendance reports, with minimal errors.
6. Filing and Documentation
- Organize and maintain employee files in an orderly and timely manner.
7. General HR Support
- Assist in preparing HR letters and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily HR operations.
8. School-Related Projects
- Participate in school programs, events, or tasks as directed by the HR Manager or Principal.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of HR experience, covering areas such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee welfare, and discipline
- Experience in implementing HR strategies and policies
- Background in the education sector is an advantage
- Good knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken)
- Familiarity with HR2000 system is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
