Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage, control and monitor daily operations of the department in an efficient and effective manner, and ensure they are in line with the set goals and objectives and within the relevant financial budgets
Recommend and execute process improvement opportunities whenever relevant
Review cash flow forecast for the group, monitor and review weekly payment schedules to ensure all payments are on time
Review monthly management account for the company and group
Review monthly consolidation account
Prepare inputs for budget planning and involve in the preparation of the yearly budget
Provide financial data and analysis to support the management
Liaise with other departments and external relevant parties on audit, banking, tax etc.
Ensure that all deadlines for sections within the department are duly met
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards, tax rules, policy and in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Finance or Equivalent
Minimum 6 years working experience in forecasting, budgeting, expense management, performance analysis and financial planning, preferably with Food industries

Skills Needed:

Ensure accurate and timely financial statements being presented monthly.
Analysing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Preparing detailed financial reports for internal stakeholders and management.
Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes and finalisation.
Develop and update SOPs as part of internal controls and risk management initiatives
