  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Contracts Officer (Telco) is responsible for supporting contract management functions. Ultimately, you will assist in monitoring all aspects of contractual matters while ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating contractual risks.

  • Prepare taking off quantity, handle progress claim, variation orders and finalise project accounts.
  • Monitor the budgets of planned project activities and report to senior staff members when budget thresholds are near or over the limit.
  • Perform final account preparation.
  • Manage and supervise project contracts, in terms of preparing monthly costing.
  • Follow up project progress and deal with project manager regarding site matters.
  • Prepare and compile tender drawings, specifications and work programmes including production of tender and contract document.
  • Prepare subcontractors’ award and award comparisons.
  • Record and maintain costing data.
  • Monitor all relevant documents submitted by the subcontractors to ensure they are fully substantiated, accurate and in accordance with the requirements.
  • Update and monitor changes in drawing measurement and design work.
  • Ensure contract documentation processing is in compliance with contractual requirement.
  • Maintain contractual records to ensure the documentation are kept in a systematic manner.
  • Communicate regularly with the superior and other departments on any contractual issues and respond timely to all correspondence.
  • Deal with internal and external parties with mutual respect and professionalism.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.

Job Specification and Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Electrical other equivalent fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in contractual environment related to construction or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience as Officer specialising in contract/claim management or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing claims for various Sub-Contracts.
  • Good knowledge in pre- and post-contract management, drawing measurement, engineering estimates and cost analysis/budget.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
