Job Summary
  • Promote engineering craftmanship and focus on delivering business value.
  • Responsible for technical delivery and technical excellence across the squads.
  • Works across multiple squads or hives for delivery of complex Features, Epics & Releases.
  • Point of escalation for delivery issues across all impacted hives and squads.
  • Work with Release Manager to develop delivery and release plans with technical dependencies, aligning all partners with support from the team and architect.
  • Study existing engineering processes and contribute to improvements to drive up efficiencies. Present ideas across other areas and foster innovation.
  • Analyze, remove, or mitigate dependencies across teams to enable speed and quality of delivery.
  • Responsible in the preparation of production outputs and their planning in alignment to ESDLC standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product roadmap , ensure technology framework is capable of supporting future product roadmap
  • Enhance product capabilities - constantly look for opportunity to enhance product offering
  • Analysis and Design – provide efficient , scalable and reusable design
  • Software development – provide solutions for minor or small changes and support larger initiatives.
  • Provides guidance and technical assistance to team members.
  • Assists in project planning/ initiation phase and support users during implementation
  • Coordinate various development activities among multiple stakeholders and across multiple geographical locations
  • Post implementation support
  • Provides support to production services and testing team
Skills and Experience
  • Strong technical knowledge CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and mainframe development related tools.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in mainframe applications development.
  • At least 8 years’ experience interacting with internal and external users via verbal and written communication.
  • Experienced in delivery projects across various teams and driving it closure.
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and analytical in problem resolution.
  • Team player, fast learner, self-initiative and reliable.
  • Experience on Retail Loan System (in house application),
Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science/Information Technology & related fields
