SURFACE GRINDING SPECIALIST

POSITION: SURFACE GRINDING SPECIALIST MING SENG ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. seeks a SURFACE GRINDING SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name • Grind components for moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and high-precision parts. • Set up and operate manual and CNC surface grinders with high accuracy. • Perform flat, step, form, and angular grinding to precise tolerances. • Achieve surface finishes up to Ra 0.1μm for mirror-grade tooling. • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T symbols. • Understand requirements for flatness, parallelism, perpendicularity, and squareness. • Set up and operate both manual and CNC surface grinders with micrometric accuracy. • Work with 3D part drawings and convert requirements into surface grinding processes. • Measure and grind to specifications using master blocks and indicators. • Confirm critical dimensions using surface plates and metrology tools. • Responsible for setting up and tending grinding machines in order to grind external or internal cylindrical or tapered surfaces of metal pieces. • Read and interpret charts, drawings, and blueprints and to determine product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground. • Ensure the machine is feed with the necessary and adequate materials and control the placement or automatic feed and retrieval of work pieces in the machines or machine tools on the production line. • Set up and give commands to a machine by dispatching the appropriate data and input into the controller corresponding with the desired • Processed product & moves controls to set cutting tool rotation speed, feed rate and grinding wheel rotation speed. • Tend a working machine designed to smoothen a metal surface by applying grinding, abrasive machine processes, and monitor and operate it according to regulations. • Oversee the data presented by a gauge concerning the measurement of pressure, temperature, thickness of a material, and others and comply with standards specific to a product involved in manufacturing processes. • Observe and identify various kinds of imperfections in work-pieces or finished products & also identify operating problems, decide what to do about it and report accordingly. • Must attain established work standards of quantity and quality on a consistent basis by process or function by following the safety policies and procedures. • Keep all equipment running by inspecting and performing basic maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning, and scheduling repairs when needed. • Perform basic repairs, including replacing parts when they are worn down or broken, within the scope of expected knowledge and expertise. Requirements The required skills for the position SURFACE GRINDING SPECIALIST Min 5 years exp in SURFACE GRINDING SPECIALIST Mastery in manual and CNC surface grinding operations Adhere to safety and quality policies. Effective problem-solving abilities. Basic 3D CAD viewing skills Read & interpret complex mechanical drawings and GD&T Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. Candidate must possess relevant education certification.
