Test Planning & Design Understand testing requirements Assist to develop UAT test plan with Lead Testers, Project Manager – Create the test plan with details of scope, timeline, approach, etc Assist to develop test cases with Lead Testers, Project Manager – Design test cases based on the documentation provided (i.e. functional spec/mapping doc) including detailed input and expected outcome covering functional flows across for in scope applications Sharing weekly test case design progress Create test data – Creation of test data via channel/host etc application to execute the test cases Conduct reviews with project team for Test Plan and Test Cases Update Requirement Traceability Matrix – Requirement mapping from the test cases back to the functional spec to ensure coverage of scope Test Execution Perform Sanity – execution of a defined set of test cases to ensure basic application flows are working accordingly Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) test execution – Execution of defined test cases and raising of defect, tracking Create Daily Status Report – status update of execution to the project team Defect management using appropriate tools and drive defect debrief session Prepare testing sign-off form Test Closure Produce test-related reports as required i.e. Progress Report, Defect Reporting, etc. Prepare project testing closure report and ensure all documentation are well kept Liaison Work closely with the Testers Lead, Project Managers, Business Users, relevant IT support teams and other stakeholders involved in the project to ensure successful end-to-end project implementation Qualifications & Experience 1) Degree Holder in Banking, Business, Economics, Finance or any related field 2) Preferably with experience in Testing Management skill 3) Possesses sound knowledge of banking products & services 4) Have strong business acumen and IT experience is a value added Skills & Knowledge 1) Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and best practices 2) Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 3) Good interpersonal skills to deal with other business units and maintain effective working relationships with fellow colleagues
