Job Summary – Assistant HR Manager (Eztrack)

Eztrack is looking for an Assistant HR Manager to support the transformation of our HR department into a high-impact, structured, and future-ready division. You will play a key role in assisting the HR Manager to establish systems, policies, and HR best practices across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building strong HR foundations, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to contribute to a growing tech-driven automotive security company.

You will be involved in a full spectrum of HR functions – from talent acquisition and onboarding, to employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic planning with daily HR execution.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to BOD and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Collaborate with HOD to identify hiring needs.
  • Oversee end to end recruitment process from vacant positions in the Forecast Hiring Table until issuance of LO and close the vacant position(s).
  • Ensure recruitment process runs smoothly which include reviewing applicants and conducting interviews with Hiring Manager.
  • Liaise with Hiring Manager on updated Job Description as needed during hiring process.
  • Sourcing candidates through suitable job portals and other sources.
  • Continually update the “Careers” page on our website.
  • Responsible in managing and proposing improvement to address HR issues (if any) in organisational development, talent management, succession planning, retention, training need, compensation and benefit as well as performance management.
  • Review, update and improve current HR policies and procedures in line with changes in labour and statutory regulations to reflect current requirement as well as improvements initiatives towards conducive working environment.
  • Advise and recommend any changes or proposal to Managing Director for approval.
  • Assist BOD with corrective action on high level issues or conflict resolutions as needed.
  • Update BOD to discuss employee concerns/feedback and strategize solutions.
  • Centralize, standardise and harmonise HR policies, compensations and benefits and HR related practices for the Group and its business.
  • Develop a comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits scheme in line with corporate plans to retain high potential and drive a performance culture.
  • Benchmark and/or participate in salary and benefit surveys.
  • Develop career pathway and skills database tieing it to job band and benefits.
  • Lead and drive effective performance management system Companywide through Performance Planning & Assessment (PPA) and have a proper reward system in place to encourage and motivate higher productivity at all levels.
  • Collaborate with BOD to set clear business goal/plan for each department during planning stage.
  • Oversee employee performance and collaborate with management to evaluate underperforming employees.
  • Sample audit individual performance appraisal for a meaningful and performance driven objective and proposed training need analysis.
  • Proposed suitable increment and bonus quantum based on inflation rate and market study.
  • Ensure the continuing availability of competent human resources to support the organization's needs and achieving this through a continuous assessment of employees’ training needs
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Minimum Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in HR within minimum 5 years in HR management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent negotiator and problem solver.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
