Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring spices.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions provided by the head chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure that all food items are stored and labeled correctly to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of food orders.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure that all dishes meet the company's standards.
- Assist in the inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a hygienic working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and requests.
