- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Frequent checks on quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Developing menus and recipes that align with the company's brand and target market
- Providing guidance and training to outlet chefs and kitchen staff at each location to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure adherence to SOP, food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitoring food costs and developing strategies to improve profitability without sacrificing quality
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock levels at outlet
- Collaborating with restaurant managers and owners to continually improve menu offerings and overall dining experience.
- Basic cooking knowledge in Western and Asian cuisines.
- Willing to learn and passionate about food.
- Must be a teamwork personality and serious in work.
- Disciplined and follows procedures accordingly.
- Excellent self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
