Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
- Proficiently operate laser cutting, welding, or marking machines in line with production plans and technical requirements.
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly; liaise with vendors or external support when necessary.
Process Optimization & Programming
- Set up machine parameters and program cutting paths using software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, based on drawings and customer requirements.
- Optimize parameters (power, speed, focal position) to improve material efficiency and minimize waste.
Quality Control & Compliance:
- Comply with ISO 9001/13485 standards; perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure compliance with tolerance specifications (e.g., GD&T).
- Ensure safety practices are aligned with Malaysia’s OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967 regulations.
Documentation & Collaboration:
- Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and quality reports for traceability and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on pilot runs, process improvements, and technical training.
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields
- Able to speak in English and Mandarin.

- Laser operation or safety certifications (e.g., NIOSH) are an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating laser equipment; background in precision manufacturing, electronics, or automotive is preferred.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM and laser programming tools.
- Able to interpret technical drawings and understand properties of materials.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
