Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled *Finance Manager* to join our team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, Operations Support (GL & Reporting). You will be responsible for overseeing all *General Ledger and Reporting* related activities while ensuring service delivery in accordance with *SLAs, KPIs*, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Functional

- Support the Manager in identifying areas for process optimisation and conducting quality reviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

- Handle accounting, reporting, and master data transaction processing, including timely resolution and escalation of issues.

- Apply knowledge of *regional VAT/GST regulations* and distinguish between financial and management reporting requirements.

- Maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and metric controls.

- Produce periodic performance reports and monitor *SLAs* and *KPIs*.

- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the General Ledger & Reporting team.

- Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Stakeholder Relationships

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.

- Provide professional support for inquiries related to fixed assets and intercompany transactions.

- Promote a strong *customer service culture* within the team.

- Handle stakeholder inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Process Improvements

- Lead initiatives to improve intercompany and fixed asset processes.

- Identify and implement standardization and continuous process improvement opportunities.

- Collaborate with managers to manage and execute process improvements within budget and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in *Finance/Accounting* or a professional qualification (*ACCA, CIMA, CPA*).

- Solid knowledge of *General Ledger (GL)* and reporting processes.

- In-depth understanding of *legal and regulatory requirements*.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and perform under pressure.
