e.g.

· Design, build and implement efficient and scalable infrastructure solutions.

· Ensure the availability, integrity, and security of all infrastructure systems.

· Maintain and troubleshoot complex infrastructure systems including servers, networks, and storage systems.

· Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement technology solutions that meet business needs.

· Provide technical expertise and support for infrastructure-related projects.

· Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure systems and processes.

Core Database Administrator day-to-day task as below:

  • Creating and maintaining database standards and policies:

Establish guidelines for database usage and consistency.

  • Supporting database design, creation, and testing:

They collaborate with solution architects to design databases and ensure their successful implementation.

  • Managing database availability and performance:

handle incidents, problems, and performance optimization.

  • Administering database objects:

This involves optimizing database utilization by managing tables, indexes, and other objects.

  • Implementing event triggers:

set up alerts for potential performance or integrity issues.

  • Performing database housekeeping:

Tasks like tuning and indexing fall under their purview.

  • Monitoring usage, transaction volumes, and response times:

keep a close eye on database performance metrics.

  • Addressing database security issues:

handle security, audit trails, and forensics.

Ensuring data resilience and availability is essential.

Requirements

e.g.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

· Hands-on experience with infrastructure design, build, and maintenance.

· Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and related field
