The job description are as follows:

  • To assist & handle litigation matters.
  • Drafting and prepare cause papers, letters, court orders and all other related and necessary correspondences.
  • To liaise directly with client, third parties and government agencies, when necessary.
  • To assist in preparing and compiling exhibits for affidavits, bundle of documents, record of appeal & other legal documents.
  • Keeping track of court diary and prepare billings.
  • Filing legal documents (e-filing skills are preferred)
  • Co-ordinate with dispatch on delivery and/ or collection of documents.
  • Other admin tasks.
  • Attending to instructions given by the Associates, Head of Branch and/ or Partners

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience (without experience in legal background may be considered and subject to all other requirements)
  • Willing to learn, honest, proactive and hardworking.
  • Having no problem to work overtime or weekend, when necessary
  • Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Pays attention and sensitive to numbers and facts to ensure accuracy of records and no mistakes.
  • Literate in Microsoft Office and Excel use
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Candidate must have reasonable command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Both written & spoken)
  • Prior working experience in a legal firm would be an added advantage.
  • Possess own transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
