Key Responsibilities
Finance:
- Manage all finance operations, including full set accounts, monthly closings, and statutory financial reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop financial strategies to enhance profitability, manage risk, and ensure long-term sustainability.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions by senior management.
- Monitor financial performance, initiate corrective actions, and minimize financial risk.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards.
- Manage internal controls and continuously improve financial processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Provide financial insights and reports to senior leadership and participate in strategic planning.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Review and verify monthly payroll and statutory deductions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and cost-efficiency goals.
- Oversee purchasing operations, ensuring alignment with supply chain and production needs.
- Improve procurement policies and procedures for transparency, efficiency, and vendor performance.
- Monitor market trends, vendor pricing, and supply risks.
- Oversee warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation.
- Ensure optimal inventory turnover and support cost control initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance and procurement.
- Proficient in BM, English and Mandarin language.
- Strong knowledge of full set accounts and audit preparation.
- Experience in purchasing processes and vendor negotiations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM132,000.00 - RM156,000.00 per year
