We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Pub Supervisor to support the daily operations of Sid’s Pub, an English-style neighbourhood pub known for its friendly atmosphere, great food, and cold pints. The ideal candidate will have experience in F&B service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pub Manager in day-to-day operations and shift management.
- Lead the front-of-house team during service, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
- Supervise staff performance, delegate tasks, and provide on-the-job training and guidance.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the premises.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Support with inventory control, ordering, and receiving stock.
- Ensure cash handling, POS operation, and daily closing procedures are done accurately.
- Step into the Pub Manager role when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to motivate and manage a team under pressure.
- Well-groomed, professional, and customer-focused.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of bar operations and food service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Familiarity with bar service and handling draught beers is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
