  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

MAHSA International School is seeking experienced, passionate, and dynamic English educators to join our team. Successful candidates may be placed in either the Primary or Secondary school depending on their experience and the school’s needs. This role includes English language teaching and providing targeted student support where required.

Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

  • Teach English language skills to students in either Primary or Secondary levels, following the Cambridge and IGCSE syllabus.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons adapted to various learning needs.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes language development and confident communication.
  • Utilize differentiated teaching strategies and integrate technology to enhance learning.

Student Support

  • Provide additional academic support to students who need extra help through small group or one-on-one sessions.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to identify learning gaps and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching or support methods accordingly.

Assessment & Feedback

  • Design and implement assessments aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Deliver timely, constructive feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents.

Classroom Management

  • Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
  • Address academic and behavioural concerns promptly and professionally.

Collaboration & Development

  • Work closely with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and school events.

Extracurricular Involvement

  • Engage in extracurricular programs and school-wide literacy and communication initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the Cambridge and IGCSE syllabus (Primary or Secondary).
  • Familiarity with differentiated instruction and student support strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to student growth.
