Manager Role / Purpose:

The purpose of a gas station manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a gas station. This includes managing staff, monitoring customer. service and sales, controlling inventory and stock levels, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to, and ensuring the efficient running of the business. The manager is also responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met and that customer satisfaction is maintained.

Main Responsibilities of a Store Manager:

1. Responsible for every aspect of everyday supervision of store outlets

2. Oversee the daily operations and activities of our petrol station

3. Responsible for resources management

4. Takes care of stock, staff discipline & welfare, and sales management

5. Able to ensure all staffs provides the highest quality customer services and monitor the overall financial performance of the store.

6. Greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great shopping experience.

Store Operations:

· Training and supervising staff

· Managing budgets

· Maintaining financial and statistical records

· Handle cash and credit transactions, reconcile sales and deposits, and prepare daily financial reports

· Monitoring fuel levels and ordering new supplies

· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

· Overseeing stock and pricing control

· Maximizing profitability and productivity

· Motivating staff to meet sales targets

· Ensuring the premises and equipment are maintained and compliant with health and safety regulations

· Resolve customer complaints and concerns.

· Preparing promotional displays and materials

· Liaising with management and getting approval before recruitment of new staff and before implementing new policies in the station / changing existing workflow.

· Setting sales targets

· Taking care of promotional prospects, benefits, and salaries of their staff

· Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

· Providing opportunities for staff development

· Ensure the safety and security of the customers & ensure all safety rules are followed in the station

· Responsible for managing stock, implementing promotions and discounts, managing staff & meet operational and financial goal set for the station.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay
