Key Functions

  • Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules (MI) while insuring product standards that will meet our customers’ expectations
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes are adhering to all Regulatory and Statutory Requirement
  • Work with HR Department and assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion
  • Maintain and ensure work safety and practices. Also continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
  • Evaluate, train and maintain individual skills (including work performance) are keeping up to date with best production and production management concepts and practice
  • Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the production operator and staff
  • Establish and prepare process documentation such as work instruction, process specifications and assist on the quality plan
  • Assist in establishes and maintains a computerized production management system (QAD)/ Excel for tracking production output, reject and stock status and also raise purchase requisition for purchasing any required production consumable and equipment for all production processes
  • Ensure on time submission of overtime record to HR Dept for computation of monthly salary
  • Monitoring of correct daily process set up requirement through verification of process set up condition against job instruction or process set up specification
  • Ensure facilities and equipment in good condition through verification before and during Production
  • Ensure a high level of discipline is established and maintained within the operation and take effective action in the event of deviations
  • Plan, arrange, supervise and monitoring of adequate manpower & resources for daily production through proper allocation of qualified manpower & appropriate resources at every work station
  • Supervise Team Leaders and operators at respective work station in their trouble shooting and handling of daily non-conformance events, segregation and identification of non-conforming items by making use of appropriate trace ability records to identify before use and after used non-conforming items
  • Supervise Team Leaders and operators in their rectification work of daily process rejects (silk screen printing & painting). Ensure quick disposition of non-conforming items to prevent unintended uses and further deterioration
  • Supervise Team Leaders and operators at various workstations in training and monitoring of new workers’ work performance
  • Monitoring of availability and proper use of safety equipment at various workstations
  • Reporting the machinery break down event or machines suspected in faulty condition for the attention of Maintenance Dept
  • Communicate regularly with all production operator and staff, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning production issues
  • Communicate directly with the others department to coordinate production status
  • Ensure & verify all work station daily process set up is correct and in accordance to the required Standard Operating Procedures & Set Up Specification, with reference to the daily production schedule/Manufacturing Instruction
  • Gather information of daily output and achievement from various work stations and report this information accurately daily. Compile and prepare Daily Production Output Report accurately and submit to the superior for review and verification
  • Ensure availability and proper use of safety equipment at all work station
  • Ensure Stock accuracy by conducting cycle-count / stock take as required and reconcile any stock variances
  • Perform any other ad-hoc projects or tasks to be assigned by the Management from time to time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
