
JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Executive to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely financial operations of our company.
This role is based in Puchong, Malaysia and reports directly to the HR Manager
A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
- To perform daily bank reconciliation, setting up new customer data, and issuance of invoices.
- To set up new suppliers while maintaining existing suppliers as per company’s guidelines and approval requirements.
- Code and post supplier invoices accurately.
- Prepare cheques and payment vouchers with precision.
- Prepare Sub-Contractors commission payments and maintain secure Excel data.
- Generate monthly financial reports, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Process all intercompany transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and post month-end journals accurately as well provide support with themonth-end
- Provide general administration support and maintain a proper filing system.
- Review monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports and monitor AR closing.
- Maintain a comprehensive correspondence record via formal letters, emails, WhatsApp, and handle various other clerical matters.
- Prepare reminder letters for overdue debtor accounts.
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned, as appropriate to support the financial operations and objectives.
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Financial or Management Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Financial or Management Accounting.
- Proficient in spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English languages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and taxation regulations.
- Business acumen and curiosity to understand the business environment.
- Preferable experience with ERP Accounting Systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude, pragmatic, and able to work independently when required.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
