About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Signature Tasty Claypo*. You will play a key role in assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, maintaining high culinary standards, and mentoring local kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and executing high-quality dishes - Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations - Monitor food presentation, taste, and portion control - Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen - Collaborate on new recipe development and menu innovation - Provide training and knowledge transfer to local culinary team - Ensure compliance with local food safety and health regulations Requirements: - Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role - Strong background in Asian or international cuisine preferred - Excellent culinary skills and creativity in food presentation - Ability to lead, mentor, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Willingness to relocate and adapt to a multicultural working environment - Good command of English (additional languages are a plus) Benefits: - Competitive expatriate salary package - Staff meals and employee discounts - Career advancement and long-term growth opportunities - Supportive and collaborative working environment
