Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute building electrical schedule maintenance program according to Energy Commission requirements for all the building assets.
  • Plan and execute for manage Visiting Engineer, routine maintenance, scheduled periodic maintenance, shutdown maintenance, breakdown maintenance and manage relay maintenance as stated in Electricity Regulation 1994.
  • Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical department.
  • Manage supervisors and technicians under engineering section on safe working environment, human resource matters, inclusive of appraisal, scheduling of standby, leave application, KPI, etc.
  • To ensure compliance to Engineering ISO Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & MS1722:2011). To carry out internal audit for Engineering ISO Integrated Management System.
  • Conduct breakdown maintenance and HT and LV services. Attend breakdown and troubleshooting for HT and LV cables problem inclusive of trace cables, re-termination, cables broken, test cables continuity end to end point and etc. Prepare maintenance report either done by contractor or inhouse team. Handling, check drawing, document controller for HT and LV under Genting and third-party project.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Knowledgeable in electricity power consumption, maximum demand, power system.
  • Must be self-initiative, responsible, self-discipline, able to work independently, fast learner, positive working attitude, communicate well and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels.
