JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Join us on our mission to embed sustainability into everything we do. As a Sustainability Intern, you will support cross-functional teams in delivering impactful ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives aligned with Astro’s corporate objectives.

What You’ll Do & Learn:

  • Assist in coordinating and executing sustainability initiatives that support Astro’s ESG goals.

  • Support internal ESG projects that drive the achievement of key KPIs, including those tied to our corporate scorecard.

  • Assist with external ESG-related collaborations and engagements involving partners, regulators, customers, community stakeholders, and NGOs.

  • Help manage project timelines, deliverables, and communications with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Track, analyse, and report on the progress of ESG initiatives through presentations, dashboards, and internal comms.

REQUIREMENTS:

Who You Are:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in sustainability and ESG-related topics.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills—both verbal and written.

  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with data reporting tools is a plus.
