QA & QC EXECUTIVE (IMMEDIATE HIRING)

We are looking for an experienced candidate that has proven experience as an QA and QC in Halal food industry. Job Description : Quality Enhancement & Product Evaluation: - Ensuring that a company's goods or services meet established quality standards - Evaluating user feedback and implementing changes for product improvements - Identifying issues that may affect product quality and drafting quality assurance policies. - Study methods to improve the quality of foods, such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, and composition. - Develop and maintain the shelf life of products, ensuring long-term quality and stability. - Monitor and follow up on the performance of newly launched products, analyzing causes affecting performance, and providing recommendations to Management and Operations. Quality Issue Resolution: - Report, analyze, and resolve any quality issues that arise during the production process, collaborating with production and marketing departments on product feasibility. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure Certification Compliance: - Ensure that all products and processes comply with Halal, Mesti certifications, and the Malaysian Food Act - Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards Cost Analysis & Competitive Positioning: Cost Optimization & Competitor Analysis: - Achieves the expected level of quality while reducing the risk of increased cost and delay - Assist management in conducting value analysis and ensure a favorable Cost of Goods ratio to sales through cost improvement projects. - Track competitor pricing and analysis to position products at accessible prices for consumers. Requirements: - Candidate must process at least a Degree in Food Science and Technology or equivalent - At least 2 years of working experience in food manufacturing and involve in Halal Confirmation Certificate application. - Able to assist in maintaining the development and upgrading of quality assurance activities. - Possess positive attitude and self-discipline - Proficiency in the English and Bahasa Malaysia - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management Salary Range: RM2500.00 - RM3000.00 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: - Opportunities for promotion - Free parking - Allowances - Extra leaves during Hari Raya Aidilfitri & Hari Raya Qurban Schedule: Day shift : Monday to Friday & Saturday (half day) Candidates with relevant experiences are welcomed to apply
