We are looking for a Senior Developer with extensive experience in Magento, Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS to design, develop, and maintain highly customizable e-commerce platforms. As a Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in implementing features, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and mentoring junior developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
1. Core Development Responsibilities:- E-commerce Development (Magento, Laravel): Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce platforms using Magento and Laravel, including theme customization, module development, and extension integration based on client requirements.
- Feature Implementation: Build and implement new features and functionalities in Magento and Laravel, integrating third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping services, and ERP systems.
- Frontend Development (Vue.js, HTML, CSS): Implement responsive, interactive, and optimized frontend user interfaces using Vue.js, HTML, and CSS, ensuring that the e-commerce site is both functional and visually appealing.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance for fast load times and seamless user experiences by implementing caching strategies, database optimizations, and improving code efficiency in both backend (PHP, MySQL) and frontend (Vue.js).
- Security: Stay up-to-date with security best practices, identify vulnerabilities, and apply patches to prevent security breaches across the platform. Ensure secure transactions and data handling on e-commerce platforms.
- Customization: Develop custom extensions, modules, plugins, and front-end functionality tailored to business needs in Magento and Laravel, while also customizing admin panels and backend logic.
2. Code Quality & Best Practices:- Code Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices in Magento, Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Vue.js, and frontend technologies.
- Best Practices: Enforce web development and PHP best practices, ensuring clean code principles, proper use of design patterns, and industry standards in the development of both backend and frontend components.
- Testing: Implement automated unit testing (PHPUnit, Selenium) and integration tests to ensure the deployment of high-quality, bug-free code. Work with the QA team to ensure all features are properly tested before production.
3. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution:- Bug Fixing: Investigate and resolve complex bugs and performance issues reported by clients or internal teams in both the backend (Magento, Laravel, MySQL) and frontend (Vue.js, HTML, CSS).
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and provide solutions to both front-end and back-end issues. Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to identify root causes and resolve them quickly.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Handle urgent issues or requests, ensuring quick changes with minimal disruption to the live system.
4. Mentorship & Collaboration:- Mentor Junior Developers: Guide junior and mid-level developers, helping them grow technically while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge of best practices, Magento, Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Vue.js, and web development techniques with the team, leading by example.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Managers, Frontend Developers, Designers, and other teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Participate in regular sprint and project planning meetings to ensure the team is aligned on project goals.
