Key Responsibilities -Establish and implement financial strategies, internal controls, and systems tailored to local market conditions while aligning with global business goals. -Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and ensure full compliance with local tax laws, international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and internal company policies. -Manage day-to-day cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to support business operations and growth. -Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, enforce cost-control initiatives, and support strategic financial planning. -Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and governance frameworks. -Build and mentor a high-performing local finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. -Act as the key liaison for external audits, tax authorities, and financial institutions, ensuring transparency and timely financial reporting. -Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies support business initiatives and expansion efforts. Requirements -Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred. -Minimum >5 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. -Strong understanding of international accounting standards and local financial regulations. -Demonstrated experience in establishing financial operations for a new entity or branch is a strong advantage. -Proven leadership and team development skills. -Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. -Experience in a multinational or regional setup is preferred.
