Job Title: Nursery Supervisor
Working Location: Genting Highland (Site)
Job Summary:
The Nursery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the nursery, ensuring the health and growth of plants, flowers, and crops. This includes implementing planting strategies, supervising nursery staff, and ensuring efficient resource use. The role requires hands-on coordination of planting activities, pest and disease control, and support in achieving quality standards for plant production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Nursery Operations & Plant Care
- Supervise daily nursery activities including watering, fertilizing, pruning, weeding, and general upkeep.
- Implement planting schedules and monitor plant growth stages.
- Identify and manage plant health issues such as pests and diseases.
- Monitor irrigation systems and nutrient application to ensure optimal plant health.
- Assist in improving planting methods and yield quality by following best practices.
2. Team Supervision & Work Allocation
- Lead and supervise a team of nursery workers. assign tasks and monitor productivity.
- Train and guide staff on nursery techniques and safety procedures.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
3. Materials & Resource Management

- Monitor and maintain inventory of nursery supplies, such as soil, pots, fertilizers, and tools.
- Ensure efficient use of materials and assist in cost-control efforts.
- Assist in procurement of nursery tools and materials as needed.

- Ensure nursery operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safe working conditions in the nursery area.
5. Reporting & Record Keeping

- Maintain accurate records of plant care schedules & pest/disease treatments
- Provide updates on nursery activities, stock levels, and issues to management regularly.
6. Support for Educational & Sustainability Programs
- Support for Educational & Sustainability Programs
- Assist with educational tours or community programs related to plant care and sustainability.
- Promote eco-friendly planting practices within nursery operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,510.45 per month
