- Process payroll for employees in multiple entities/regions in accordance with the company’s payroll calendar.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including tax, EPF/CPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.
- Review and validate payroll input and output reports to ensure accuracy (e.g., new joiners, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, overtime).
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll cut-off dates are met.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, payslips, and statutory deductions.
- Manage payroll-related documentation and maintain accurate records (e.g., audit trails, GL reports, pay register).
- Work with external payroll vendors and government agencies as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Prepare statutory filings and ensure timely submission to authorities.
- Participate in payroll audits and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
- Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee by superior.
