  • Process payroll for employees in multiple entities/regions in accordance with the company’s payroll calendar.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including tax, EPF/CPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.
  • Review and validate payroll input and output reports to ensure accuracy (e.g., new joiners, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, overtime).
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll cut-off dates are met.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, payslips, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage payroll-related documentation and maintain accurate records (e.g., audit trails, GL reports, pay register).
  • Work with external payroll vendors and government agencies as needed.
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll reconciliation and reporting.
  • Prepare statutory filings and ensure timely submission to authorities.
  • Participate in payroll audits and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
  • Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee by superior.
