Job Scope

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for sourcing materials, price negotiations, and delivery status.
  • Process purchase requests, obtain quotations, and issue purchase orders.
  • Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Preparation of procurement process documentations and purchases transaction reports and records.
  • Resolve any dispute or issue that arise between contract manufacturers and raw material & packaging suppliers.
  • Coordinate and evaluate vendors' performance from time to time to ensure they meet company’s requirements and quality standards.
  • Gathering general market trends, prices, suppliers and competitive information as guidance in gauging effectiveness of sourcing.
  • Strengthen mutually beneficial relationships continuously with suppliers and internal departments through enhanced value and meeting with the agreed objectives.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements

  • Candidate must posses at least min SPM / higher level of education.
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing / account payable.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or related fields, preferably in F&B industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost negotiation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with contracts and terms.
  • Understanding of risk management, supplier performance evaluation, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Ability to manage inventories, POs, and payment terms.
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills to coordinate production and procurement activities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a small, dynamic team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software tools (SQL).
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willing to work on alternate Saturday.
