Job Summary:
As a Chargeman, you will be responsible for managing electrical installations, maintenance, and operations within our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical systems are functioning optimally, promoting safety and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all electrical operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Oversee a team of electricians and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize electrical system performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in electrical engineering or similar field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Chargeman or in a similar role (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
  • Certification in relevant safety training (e.g., OSHA).
