  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute daily general accounting tasks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation and posting of accruals, provisions, prepayments, and deposits.
  • Prepare and finalize financial statements and management reports for both internal and external use.
  • Ensure all financial reporting adheres to relevant regulations and accounting standards.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and variance analyses promptly and accurately.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge in managing finance-related SOPs.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external financial audits, addressing findings and implementing improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including filing tax returns and managing tax-exempt status.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers.
  • Support accounting and finance projects, including process improvement initiatives.
  • Train and mentor staff in financial reporting procedures and best practices, fostering a culture of financial responsibility.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
  • Experience with MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management.
  • Experience in the education industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Efficient in performing duties, a good team player, and able to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a plus.
  • This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM96,000.00 - RM120,000.00 per year
