Technician

The technician is responsible for providing expert on-site service, installation, and repair of a wide range of home appliances at our customers' locations. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in the field. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, ensuring proper operation, and educating customers on the maintenance of their appliances. The technician will also address customer inquiries and technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation for quality service. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and arrange appointments with clients at their convenience, for outdoor field service. Onsite installation and testing products, equipment, and machinery and providing instructions to customers on the proper usage of their products. Using diagnostic tools (example: Multimeter; calibrator) to identify issues and evaluate the available information. Fixing defective or broken products or ordering the necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts. Prepare basic quotation for non-warranty product repairs. Clearly communicate the costs of repairs to customers Parts Management and Inventory Workshop Organization and Safety Perform other duties as may be required and / or may be assigned by superior TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Minimum Vocational School certification or equivalent practical experience in appliance repair. Able to speak and write basic Bahasa Malaysia and English effectively for communication with customers and colleagues. Proficiency in other languages is an added advantage. Good working knowledge of standard equipment and tools used in the home appliance service industry. Proven practical experience in diagnosing and repairing various home appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, etc.) in a field service environment.
