- Greet and welcome guests warmly with a friendly and professional attitude
- To conduct stock checks at end month and ensure stock are of enough
- Apply upselling skills by recommending add-ons, signature dishes, desserts, and beverages to increase average customer spend
- Proactively engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide personalized suggestions
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring correct items and presentation standards
- Check in with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction, and handle feedback or complaints professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, including table setups and utensil arrangements
- Build strong customer relationships (PR) by remembering regulars, celebrating special occasions (e.g. birthdays), and making guests feel valued
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle payments and issue receipts when required
- Attend regular training sessions to improve service, upselling techniques, and product knowledge
- Follow all SOPs, health & safety procedures, and company policies
- Manage any ad-hoc tasks assigned as required from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Working experience in either fast food chain, restaurant or a catering company would be an added advantage.
- Able to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.
- Good conversational skills of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess exceptional customer service skills and mindset
