JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in planning, tendering, managing and implementing M&E or C&S services for in-house and tender projects. Ensure works are done as per contract specifications and manufacturer's recommendations. Assist the Manager to implement plan, manage and control cost according to budget, selection of materials, workers and sub-contractors. Assist Pre-contract and Tender Division with tender support for M&E or C&S services /project support. Coordinate, monitor and review M&E or C&S work progress. Liaise with consultants and clients on M&E or C&S work progress. Lead the field execution of project and turnaround construction work. Facilitate and drive mechanical installation work activities at site for allocated projects. Focus on safe working of implementation resources. Provide construction and mechanical expertise/advice during design safety and engineering reviews to ensure that construction requirements and legislation are complied with. Monitor and report upon delivery, ensure problems/issues are anticipated/identified/ flagged at the earliest opportunity and that appropriate mitigations/solutions are put in place etc. Prepare M&E Master Construction Schedule, CSD and Structural Penetration for approval. Review M&E Design Drawings and identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural, ID, Architectural and Client provisions. Review and align M&E Design Drawings to ensure compliance with design specification and guidelines. Ensure M&E works are well coordinated with the Consultant to meet any Authorities Requirements. Order construction materials, hire/ buy machinery, equipment & tools for site use and implementation of safety measures and guidelines. Monitor the service and maintenance of the machinery, equipment, tools, and vehicles for site use. Implement the preventive maintenance program to avoid machine breakdown. Compliance to the master program schedule. Ensure low wastage of materials used such as concrete, rebar, formwork and etc. May be required to work “on call” after working hours including evenings, weekends or Public Holidays, when necessary for all other related to works. Undertake other special assignments and ad-hoc functions as and when required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Engineering in Mechanical & Electrical or Civil Structure or equivalent. At least 3-4 years working experience in the Construction industry for supervision of multi-disciplined teams. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Possess good leadership skills - supervising, mentoring and coaching. Prior experience with managing sub-contractors.
