As we scale, we're looking for a tenacious Senior HR Manager to architect, lead, and evolve our talent operations at a global standard. Position Summary We’re seeking an exceptional Senior HR Manager to drive strategic HR leadership across our growing organization. This role demands expertise in cross-border HR operations, expatriate talent management, policy design, and a strong command of organizational design and transformation. You’ll shape the employee experience from recruitment to exit, across diverse cultural landscapes. This is not a checkbox HR role — it’s a critical leadership position for someone who thrives in complex environments, brings systems thinking to people operations, and can evolve HR into a true strategic partner. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership * Design and execute a forward-thinking HR strategy aligned with business goals across local and global functions. * Serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team on talent strategy, culture evolution, and workforce planning. * Lead organizational design efforts to support scale, agility, and cross-functional alignment. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding * Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top-tier local and international talent. * Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to position SnappyMob as an employer of choice in both domestic and international markets. * Design and optimize hiring funnels with a high focus on quality of hire and diversity. Talent Management & Development * Oversee performance management processes that drive accountability, development, and high performance. * Develop competency frameworks, career ladders, and succession planning structures for all departments. * Build and implement structured onboarding and learning programs tailored to local and expat hires. HR Operations & Compliance * Lead the management of expatriate hires: visa processing, relocation support, tax compliance, and cultural assimilation. * Ensure legal and regulatory HR compliance across jurisdictions (Malaysia and other relevant countries). * Oversee compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, and benefits strategies to maintain equity and market competitiveness. Culture & Employee Experience * Drive employee engagement through pulse surveys, focus groups, and targeted programs. * Resolve complex employee relations matters with fairness, discretion, and legal prudence. * Champion DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) across all touchpoints of the employee journey. Qualifications & Requirements * 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership role. * Proven experience managing expatriate talent and cross-cultural teams. * Deep understanding of Malaysian labor law and exposure to international HR practices. * Strong background in organizational development, change management, and HR systems implementation. * Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills — especially with C-level leadership. * Demonstrated ability to lead HR in a tech/startup or high-growth environment is strongly preferred. * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus. * HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, CHRM) are an advantage.
