Key Responsibilities Regional HR Strategy & Execution * Develop and lead the execution of an integrated, multi-country HR strategy in alignment with corporate goals and local market realities. * Drive talent strategies that support scalability, cross-border collaboration, and functional excellence across Asia and SEA markets. * Act as a strategic business partner to senior regional leadership, translating commercial goals into people initiatives with a strong understanding of local workforce dynamics, cultural expectations, and regulatory landscapes. Talent Management & Succession Planning * Lead strategic workforce planning across Asia and SEA, identifying capability gaps and developing robust succession pipelines. * Oversee performance management, coaching frameworks, and high-potential programs tailored to varied cultural and functional contexts. * Design and implement regional leadership development and competency programs specific to Asian market needs. Expat & Mobility Management * Lead the strategy and execution of international mobility, expatriate assignments, and cross-border talent deployments across Asia and Southeast Asia. * Ensure seamless relocation, compensation, and compliance processes with localized support and cultural fluency. Compliance, Governance & Risk Mitigation * Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment practices across all Asia/SEA countries, coordinating with legal teams and local partners. * Standardize policies and HR frameworks while balancing global alignment with local market adaptation. People Analytics & HR Systems * Leverage analytics to provide insights into employee trends, turnover, engagement, and diversity across Asia and SEA. * Implement and manage regional HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy and real-time visibility across countries. Culture, Engagement & DEI * Drive consistent cultural values while adapting engagement strategies to fit the unique needs of Southeast Asian and broader Asian teams. * Champion inclusive practices that reflect the cultural richness and complexity of the region. * Proactively address regional engagement issues with targeted, data-informed solutions. Qualifications & Experience * 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a regional leadership role overseeing multiple countries within Asia and Southeast Asia. * Proven experience managing multi-national teams and working across a diverse cultural landscape, particularly in ASEAN markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. * Deep understanding of regional labor laws, talent trends, and operational complexities in both emerging and mature Asian markets. * Demonstrated success in driving cross-border HR strategies, organizational design, and talent development programs. * Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field. Master’s/MBA or global HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, CIPD, GPHR) preferred. * Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills. * Comfortable navigating regional travel and working across time zones. Preferred Attributes * Deep cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence specific to Asian workforces. * Operational excellence with strategic foresight. * Change leadership capabilities in matrix or high-growth environments. * Systems thinker with attention to local execution. Why Join Us? * High-impact regional leadership role with a seat at the strategy table. * Multicultural, mission-driven team operating at scale. * Exposure to diverse industries, cultures, and evolving HR ecosystems. * Competitive compensation, regional mobility, and leadership visibility.
