Descriptions: Tender Evaluation & Quotation Review: 1. Review and verify all incoming tender quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. 2. Verify the completion of work against claims submitted, ensuring that payments align with contract terms and work completed. 3. Ensure all project financial records are kept in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Risk Management & Value Engineering: 1. Identify and assess financial risks associated with the project, including potential cost overruns, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. 2. Collaborate with project teams to evaluate cost-effective alternatives and implement value engineering solutions to optimize project spending. Coordination with Project Team: 1. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to monitor and control project costs effectively. 2. Provide support and advice on cost-related matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving opportunities. 3. Attend project meetings to discuss financial status, highlight potential issues, and recommend corrective actions. Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost control and project management, with at least 3 years of experience working on data center projects. 2. Proven track record in managing the financial aspects of large-scale construction projects, particularly in the data center or similar critical infrastructure sectors. 3. Skills - Strong proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting. 4. In-depth understanding of project cost control systems and software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools. 5. Solid knowledge of local regulations and standards within Malaysia, particularly related to data centers and infrastructure development. 6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with the budget. 7.
