Purchasing Manager

We're Hiring: Purchasing Manager (Senai, Johor) Location: Senai, Johor Are you an experienced procurement leader with a strong background in electronics manufacturing? Our client, a reputable manufacturing company based in Senai, Johor, is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their growing team! Key Responsibilities: • Manage the procurement of local operational needs including inventory, MRO items, spare parts, equipment, engineering items, and services. • Lead cost improvement initiatives and negotiate effectively with local suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and lead time. • Oversee purchase contract negotiations with external vendors. • Lead supplier qualification and performance rating activities. • Review and approve purchase orders in line with company procedures. • Supervise and develop the purchasing team, including involvement in hiring, training, performance appraisals, and other HR-related functions. • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team. Requirements: • We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients effectively. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the EMS or electronics manufacturing environment. • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
