
Chargemen Genset Operation
1. Start and stop generator sets (gensets) as needed.
2. Monitor running conditions like temperature, pressure, and fuel level.
3. Ensure proper load distribution during operation.
4. Inspect and maintain electrical systems connected to gensets.
5. Perform electrical troubleshooting and basic repairs.
6. Handle power switching between mains and genset supply.
7. Conduct regular servicing of gensets (oil, coolant, battery checks).
8. Replace filters and lubricants as per schedule.
9. Coordinate with vendors for major genset servicing.
10. Record genset running hours, fuel consumption, and load readings.
11. Maintain maintenance and fault logbooks.
12. Submit reports to supervisor or facilities manager.
13. Follow safety procedures and electrical codes (Energy Commission regulations).
14. Ensure genset and electrical installations meet compliance standards.
15. Wear proper PPE and maintain safety at all times.
16. Respond quickly to power failures or genset faults.
17. Perform emergency shutdown/start-up as required.
18. Support continuity of critical operations during outages.
19. Work with other technicians and departments.
20. Assist in inspections, audits, and scheduled testing.
21. Attend standby duties, especially for high-risk or mission-critical facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
