A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

  • Identify and pursue new and existing customer opportunities to drive volume and revenue growth, while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through proactive deal-closing and effective negotiation, addressing any concerns or objections to secure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor account performance by using data insights to guide decisions, spot risks early, and resolve issues proactively. Prepare clear reports for both internal and external stakeholders, highlighting wins and improvement areas, and stay hands-on when needed to ensure smooth execution that meets customer expectations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and uncover new growth opportunities, while preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Work closely with teams to spot and fix issues early, improve service, and support business growth. Coordinate with operations to meet customer needs, and collaborate with success, legal, finance and customer care to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
  • Lead by taking initiative, staying hands-on and supporting team members when needed.
  • Ensure clear and concise communication across all teams and stakeholders at all levels

Requirements

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have' for the role:

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Skilled in identifying client challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and driving business growth
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Skills in interpreting data, extracting insights, and making data-driven decisions to support account management strategies, with proficiency in Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs for professional reporting and presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders
