Role and Responsibilities
· Responsible to negotiate price and purchase goods from local and oversea vendor
· Researching potential vendor
· Comparing and evaluating offers from vendor
· In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, ordering and following up on Purchase Order
· To coordinate with planner for material planning and finance department for best payment term to use.
· To forward all purchasing documents to Finance department.
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery
· Review quality of purchased product based on report and feedback from other department such as QA and Marketing department
· Maintain updated record of purchased products, delivery information, price list, invoice, payment schedule and shipment schedule.
· Prepared costing report when required.
· Keep track of rejection goods
· Ensuring that the product inventory is always in compliance with company policy
· Resolve supply, quality, and invoicing issues with vendors.
· Request sample, mock-up & colour proof from vendor before proceed with ordering.
· Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
· Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Working Experience
· At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Required Skill(s):
· Negotiating skills, communication skills, strategic thinking, impeccable time management, Microsoft skills
· Preferably Manager specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
