Job Description: NPRA Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Project-Based – Remote, Malaysia)

Join one of the fastest-growing health supplement brands in Southeast Asia! We are looking for an experienced, independent Regulatory Affairs Specialist to manage and drive successful product registrations with NPRA (National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency) in Malaysia.

This is a project-based role, with payment structured by successful NPRA registrations. You will work remotely from anywhere in Malaysia and take full ownership of the registration process across health supplements, traditional products, and cosmetics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end NPRA registration for health supplements, traditional products, and cosmetics
  • Compile, review, and submit regulatory dossiers using Quest3+ or equivalent NPRA system
  • Coordinate directly with suppliers to collect required documents (COA, stability data, label, specs, etc.)
  • Ensure labeling and claims fully comply with Malaysian regulatory standards (KKM/NPRA)
  • Track submission progress and ensure successful approvals within expected timelines
  • Provide status updates and reporting on all submissions
  • Advise internal team on regulatory risks and compliance best practices
  • Handle renewals, post-approval variations, and product updates when necessary

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be based in Malaysia with hands-on experience in NPRA submissions
  • Strong track record of independently managing and completing successful product registrations
  • Deep understanding of NPRA guidelines for health supplements, traditional medicines, and cosmetics
  • Familiar with Quest3+ online system and regulatory submission requirements
  • Able to work remotely and independently without supervision
  • Excellent document management and attention to detail

Project-Based Compensation

  • Payment is based on per successful registration submitted and approved
  • Rate to be discussed based on experience and product category
  • Flexible schedule – deliverables and success are the priority

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in NPRA regulatory affairs
  • Proven success in registering multiple health-related products in Malaysia
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Degree in Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, or equivalent preferred

Work Arrangement

  • Flexible working hours based on submission deadlines

Pay: RM1,500.00 per month
